Accessibility Statement

FlyCRE wants everyone to be able to use flycre.com, read about our work, and reach our team. Here is the standard we build to, what we have done, where the limits are, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our commitment

FlyCRE, a division of Burge Corporation, is committed to making www.flycre.com accessible to people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.

The standard we build to

We design and review the Site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and aim for Level AA. WCAG explains how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and is the most widely referenced standard for web accessibility. We describe our goal as working toward Level AA. We do not claim full conformance, and we continue to review the Site as it changes.

What we have done

  • Page structure: each page has a declared language, one main heading, ordered section headings, and labeled regions for navigation, main content, and the footer, so assistive technology can move through it.
  • Text alternatives: images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Color contrast: we raised the contrast of secondary text and labels so they meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast ratio against the dark background.
  • Forms: fields on the consultation and pilot application forms have visible labels, and the forms can be completed with a keyboard.
  • Keyboard and menus: links, buttons, and the mobile menu can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the menu button reports whether it is open or closed.
  • Mobile and zoom: the layout adapts to phones and tablets, and the Site does not block pinch to zoom or browser text resizing.
  • Plain language: we write in short, direct sentences, and we cite outside sources with descriptive links.

Known limitations

  • Aerial imagery: orthomosaics, thermal captures, and multispectral imagery are visual records by nature. Images on the Site have descriptions, but the full detail of a capture cannot be carried in text. If you need information about a project in another format, contact us and we will work with you to provide it in a format you can use.
  • Documents and sites we link to: we link to government agencies, publications, and social media pages, including PDF documents, that we do not control. Their accessibility is the responsibility of their publishers.
  • Third-party services: parts of the Site, such as form handling and web fonts, are provided by outside services. We choose and configure them with accessibility in mind, but we do not control their code.
  • Client platform: this statement covers www.flycre.com. Accessibility needs for FlyCRE Intelligence, the private platform where clients receive their data, are addressed directly with each client.

Compatibility

The Site is built to work with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox, on desktop and mobile, and with the screen readers and accessibility features built into those platforms. Older browsers may not display every part of the Site as intended.

Feedback and help

If you have trouble using any part of the Site, or you need information from it in a different format, please let us know. Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use, if any. We aim to respond within five business days.

Ongoing work

We review new pages and blog posts for accessibility before they are published, and we revisit the Site when we add features. We will update this statement as that work continues. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

/ PRIVACY

We protect the right to privacy.

We do not capture data of private property or residences. Our flights cover only the properties our clients own, insure, or manage, at high altitude so neighbors are never disturbed.

SCOPE OF SERVICE

FlyCRE provides aerial site documentation and data subscription services. We capture RGB, thermal, and multispectral imagery on a schedule, process it, and deliver it through FlyCRE Intelligence as an observational record. We do not provide maintenance, repair, inspection, or land surveying services. Measurements are approximate, for condition tracking and reference, and are not survey-grade. Read the full scope of service.
